Aidan's First Birthday

Atticus, Justin and I were lucky enough to be invited along to attend Aidan's first Birthday party on Saturday. Atti was a very grumpy little guy most of the day but we were able to bribe him into smiling some of the time (especially with the help of fairy bread and chocolate freddos)! Play Date with Amelia

Today Atticus had a play date with the lovely Amelia and seemed to enjoy her company quite a bit! There was lots of smiling and giggling and Amelia thought that the cats were very amusing and good for playing chasey with. Amelia's Mum Monica was nice enough to bring me a packet of "Jules" biscuits and even though the spelling was incorrect the biscuits themselves were quite tasty ;-) Thanks for visiting Monica & Amelia and Atticus and I look forward to seeing you both again soon!

Play Date with Sharon, Amey, Kelly & Finn

Had an afternoon tea today with Sharon, Amey, Kelly & Finn. Finn is 9 weeks old and I swear that Atticus was NEVER that small!! It's enough to make one VERY clucky! Amey had a great time giving Daphne a run for her money and Finn did a fair bit of sleeping and even blessed me with some gorgeous toothless smiles. Thanks for visiting ladies and I look forward to doing it again soon!

Popped in to visit Amy, Grant & Aurora on Sunday and a rocking good time was had by all. I'm not sure what Atti liked best, Aurora, the Leapfrog table or the lemon cheesecake that he managed to score a hand full of.

Mother's Day

My very first Mother's Day!

Atti kindly asked Daddy to pick him up a few items from Lush for me (hopefully not because he thinks I'm stinky) and Justin got me some lovely irises. Then it was off to the pancake parlour with David, Dianne and Andrew for some quality pancakes for brekkie.

In the afternoon we visited my folks in Healesville and as luck would have it Richard and Suzie were also there with Tristan, Cooper & Rohan and my Grandmother to boot so a good play session was had by all. If only scary Uncle Justin would stop looking at Tristan and making him cry!

Atti's First Hair Cut

Today I took Atticus for his first haircut and it was a little bit sad ... he went in a baby and came out a little boy! He was very well behaved and had many a giggle playing peek-a-boo with his "Aunty Lauren".

Play date with Mel & Aidan

Had Mel & Aidan over for lunchies today. It was great to see the boys finally starting to interact with each other. I've told Atti that he needs to make good friends with Aidan as at the rate he's growing I'm sure he'll be a useful asset to have in the future. His only personal body guard ;-) Seriously though, Aidan is the most affectionate and adorable kid and I hope the boys become fast friends.
