Water Familarisation Classes

Here's a pic of Atti at his first water familiarisation class at Paul Sadler. He absolutely LOVED the pool! A blast was had by all (although poor me almost melted away it was so damn humid in there). I think it's safe to say it's quality time Justin will be both looking forward to and enjoying in the weeks to come.

Summer with no air con

The temperature was in the high thirties today and we lost power for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Perfect! We made do without the air conditioning with the help of a wet facewasher that Atti pointed out to me was multi purpose. Good for hot foreheads and sore toothy pegs!

Atti has started waking up between 7 and 8am! We are so excited! Finally the sun is up before us!

Dee & Age tie the knot!

I must admit that my eyes got a bit moist during the ceremony. It's so special to see two people who are obviously soul mates tie the knot. It was such a glorious day and everything was perfect. It was a fairytale wedding and Justin and I felt so honored to be part of it.

Atti's 7mth check up

Weight - 8174gms (18 pounds)
Length - 69.4cms
Head circumference - 45.5cms

Atti's weight has increased by 484gms this month! He's just below the 50% percentile.

I officially resigned from Carter Holt Harvey today. It's both a scary and liberating feeling.

I'm almost positive Atti's right front tooth is finally coming down ... not good news for boobies!

I've been looking around for a kindermusik (or something similar anyway) class for Atti. I'm sure he'll just love it and I figure it's never too young to set them on the path to becoming a musical prodigy.

I've resigned myself to starting the day at 5am permanently (Atti's been doing it for about seven weeks now so I figure that this is how we start our days). He's also trying to crawl like crazy which is a bit scary!

Atti's getting up on his knees at the moment ... he'll be crawling any minute now ... we're so unprepared!
