A Grand Day
Took a drive this morning up to the Sugar Loaf Reservior where we briefly met up with Mum, Dad, Richard, Suzie and the Triplets. It was a bit on the nippy side of things so it wasn't too long before we retired back to Mum and Dads for a bite to eat. We returned home later in the afternoon to a message on the phone from Justin's folks inviting Atticus out for a spot of kite flying so lucky Atti managed to score both sets of Grands to play with for the day!

How pleased do you think his Father was when Atticus found one of my tops with lace and seqins, put it on and proclaimed himself a beautiful princess? THRILLED!
Grumpy the Builder
Due to some very dodgy workmanship on the house by the previous owners we've been forced to enlist the help of a 'professional' to help rid the bay window of rotting timber. Luckily Atticus was available to offer Dad some assistance. He's especially good at measuring, drawing on timber, passing screws and sweeping up/around saw dust. Seriously though, thank God for my Father's help! Without him we would have been a couple of thousand dollars poorer and Justin would probably have gone completely grey!
Up the Duff!
After what seems like forever (but is honestly only about 8 months) of trying Justin and I found out this morning that I am once again pregnant. I can't begin to tell you how excited/relieved/grateful we both feel to be lucky enough to ride this rollercoaster all over again! Atticus promises to be a model big brother and has already suggested "Miffy" and even "Change Table" as suitable names. He's even offered to share his dummy!Here's hoping we have a smooth and non eventful seven or so months.
Both Atti and Justin have been sick lately with chest infections so Atti and I have been confined to the house for the good part of a week. As a result things have been getting a bit 'play school' with me desperately trying to think of arts and crafts activities to keep him amused. Our first masterpiece was a spider that we fashioned out of an egg carton and some pipe cleaners followed by the piece de resistance ... Mailbox! Atti loves him and has been putting postcards inside so he has an excuse to sing the letter song just like in Blues Clues ... me thinks the boy is slightly obsessed ;-)
