Potty Tricks

Atticus has finally started to show an interest in Toilet Training (I must admit it's probably 99% smartie related but at this point, who cares)! He now uses the potty two to three times a day but will often ask me to put his nappy back on when it's time for a poo. Perhaps I won't end up with two in nappies after all?

Best Buddies

Spent the morning at Ambers Playhouse with Melissa, Aidan & Thomas today. After a bit of a clingy start Atticus quickly warmed up and was soon off chasing Melissa and Aidan through the tunnels and down the slides leaving me happily giving Thomas a cuddle. By the time he bothered to check in with me the whole back of his head was drenched with sweat so I dare so he'd been having a good time. It's so lovely to see him play with Aidan as although they are chalk and cheese they really are the best of mates. It's also lovely to see how he's developed a special relationship with Mel too (and it gives me a welcome rest)!

Took Atticus to the Lilydale Show today with Granny & Grumpy and we had an absolute ball! They had a petting zoo there as well as baby crocs and snakes! Grumpy bought Atti his first ever showbag (Cadbury), he was lucky enough to score two helium balloons, have a dog made for him out of a balloon (Schnitzel Von Krumm apparently), eat 80% of Mummy's gelati and go for a ride on the tea cups with Dad. Needless to say we'll be going back next year (and perhaps next time we'll be able to talk him into the Ferris Wheel or getting his face painted) ;-)

So excited is Atticus about Christmas this year that he even has his own minature tree which he insists on decorating or "Making Christmas" with for hours on end.
